ABOUT MY ART
My work is very much inspired by the natural world. I use texture, color, and organic materials such as dried flowers and dirt to create abstract paintings. Nature is healing, uplifting, and inspiring and it is my intention to make artwork that brings these qualities to the indoor space.
BIO
I’ve loved everything art--colors, textures, patterns--for as long as I can remember. Throughout school I took every art class I could find and also attended college courses at Parsons School of Design in NYC during the summer. I majored in fine arts at the University of Colorado for two years before changing paths and giving up art for about ten years. I graduated with a degree in biological engineering in 2012. Leaving the engineering field shortly after graduating, I’ve since worked in graphic design, marketing, events, and even as a yoga teacher. In 2020 I came full circle, deciding to make art my main focus and pursue it full time.
